Artsu is a new label created by designer
/ artist Nik Philpott. Specialising in 1 off garments ranging from
subtle intricate multi-colour print t-shirst to sexy, from the heart
of punk womens fashion.
Philpott comes from a background of award
winning screen printing, leading him in 2003 to starting a unique art
based t-shirt label called 'Sonics', which is now stocked in 8 Sydney
boutiques.
"Believe in art, this is our dream. People
are beautiful and unique, so too should be their threads. Enjoy wearing
them as much as we enjoy creating them!!"
Nik will be launching his
latest designs at the F.ROCK fashion parade event in Manly in September
2005, as a
part of the Manly Arts Festival. He is interested in connecting with
fashion retailers and buyers.
