The website features exclusive interviews with some of the top tabla players of our generation, downloads of audio and video clips from these maestros, an online shop for music from Indian Classical Music suppliers and news about Indian Classical Music from around the world

We invite you to share our enthusiasm for Indian classical music – an art form that reflects the heart and soul of India to create one of the richest heritage gifts to mankind.

Our ultimate goal is to create a portal for Indian Classical Music and to this end, we aim to widen our canvas to other Indian classical instruments as well as dance and vocal.

As custodians of our cultural heritage, Tablaonline seeks to use the web to create connections between listeners, musicians, organisations and companies to ensure that Indian classical music continues to flourish. Tablaonline hopes to encourage networking, partnering and education, as well as sharing our love for our musical tradition with all corners of the world.

Tablaonline is run on a voluntary basis by a small team of dedicated volunteers. We invite all those who wish to see this art form flourish to submit their views or get involved in developing Tablaonline.
