The Program Arts,
Culture & Entertainment Website
www.theprogram.net.au The
Program is an arts, culture and entertainment website linking young people to
all things creative - containing features, news, jobs and opportunities, reviews,
creative industry profiles, resources, links, giveaways, preview online gallery
and an events calendar. The site provides opportunities for
young artists to promote their own work, have their work reviewed, to find out
about jobs, grants, gigs, exhibitions and shows. Over 500 creative organisations
are profiled on the site, providing the unique potential for young artists work
to be posted side by side with what professional creative industries have to offer.
There is also a soapbox to have your say and heaps of great giveaways.
THE
PROGRAM is all about sparking connections between young people and the arts community.
Recognising that arts and creativity mean something different for everyone. One
man's opera is another man's grunge; oils to one woman, pixels to another. The
website is a space to express yourself creatively and critically. You can post
your own stories, events you're involved in, review what you've seen lately, and
comment on stories or artistic incidents. THE PROGRAM was
established as an Australia Council initiative in 2001 and is managed within the
noise festival. Visit
