Fashion Designer (Northern Beaches, NSW)

After completing a visual arts diploma and travelling overseas extensively, Sarah realised her passion for the Fashion Industry.

Upon returning to Australia, she enrolled at Whitehouse Institute of design where she studied pattern making and garment construction. Her talent won her a place at East Sydney where she studied fashion design, textile design and printing.

Sarah has been designer for Toad Hall Girl for three years. It is a pre teen label, specialising in party wear for 8-14 year old girls. Her designs are sold in Australia and New Zealand.

Sarah’s love of fabric evolved into small productions of classically shaped tops in beautiful fabrics which she sells along with her hand made earrings, gorgeous scarfs and wraps.

Her new label, Sarah Wood Designs is sold through exclusive retail shops in Australia and New Zealand.

The Sarah Wood woman has an understated, yet classy dress sense, remaining ladylike and elegant without being flashy. Intelligent and light-hearted she likes to show something of a difference in the way she dresses. She adorns herself in stunning fabrics and has an original way of putting her look together.

Sarah is interested in connecting with retailers and buyers in the fashion industry.
