Mark Hopper and Shannon Reynolds are an acoustic / electric
duo performing blues and roots, original songs and covers.
Mark Hopper covers the blues with soul and passion.
His music is inspired by legends such as JJ Cale and Little Feat. Mark's
remarkable vocals
are complimented by a unique and charismatic acoustic playing style
that is full of rhythm. Mark is the sort of person you will not
forget and the sort of musician you will want to listen to again and
again.
Shannon's original songs are soulful and heartfeld. Her
sultry style is reminiscent of Ricki-Lee Jones and Joni Mitchell and
her
songs cover
a wide range of genres from jazz / blues to latin / folk. Shannon's
music has been described as rich and melodic with poetic lyrics
drawn from life experiences.
Shannon recently collaborated on the Home Grown Roots
CD featuring Winter, a beautiful jazz ballad
(see Track 3 below).
