Stephanie Laine
Painter, Contemporary Abstract (Kirra, QLD)

Stephanie grew up in the country areas of the NSW Central Coast.  Daughter of Cartoonist Larry Pickering and 1 of 10 children, her colourful and interesting upbringing has contributed to the freshness and passion evident in her work.  With a background in Graphic Design she was a partner in 'Studio Otto' Illustration and Design for 12 years before deciding to devote her time fully to painting just 2 years ago.

Stephanie's works are primarily large contemporary abstracts, originally inspired by the organic textures and colours of nature. Her work has evolved to incorporate a bolder palatte yet still retains the rich texture and detail of her earlier pieces.

Stephanie now paints full time and sells her work through only a few select Gold Coast outlets.  Her artwork graces the walls of homes throughout Australia as well as those in Japan, USA, New Zealand, Singapore and Dubai.
