Tracey Esteves
Painter (Hinchinbrook, NSW)

Tracey received her formal education at City Art Institute and was awarded a Bachelor of Art Education. She has been working as a Visual Arts Secondary Teacher for the past 20 years and believes the time has come to renew her passion for the Visual Arts.

Tracey works on large and small scale canvases as well as paper. She enjoys the freedom of using all types of materials including non traditional, and works in a wide range of genres from still life to abstraction.

Artists Statement:
"My artistic practice includes working on a variety of images in which I put my own subjectivity to. I define my work as an eclectic use of materials and techniques inspired by the likes of Brett Whiteley, Wassilly Kandinsky and Paul Klee. I hope to engage my audience through the use of expressive colour and free flowing form which enables me to showcase my unique view of the world."
