Trish Wise
Painter (Sydney, NSW)

Trish has been painting for 6 years and has attended various art courses, including the Mitchell School of Arts Charles Sturt University, where she was nominated for an award. Art in Action course, Rex Newell Art Course, and has been tutored by professional artists, including Johanna Geluk, Stella Pearce, Margaret Dimiti, Suzy Johnson and Mignon Parker, and is currently continuing her studies with well known artists Lyn Hammond & Anne Bourne at Art Focus Gallery Brookvale.

Her subject matters range from contemporary to abstract.

Trish has exhibited her paintings at many various exhibitions, both locally and throughout NSW. This has resulted in awards at St Ives Agricultural Show in both 2006 & 2007 and sales of paintings to city and country areas of NSW and overseas.

Artists Statement:
My love of colour and the beautiful things of nature is what has inspired and influenced my paintings, which can be vibrant or soft and romantic.

When asked what inspires her to create, Trish says " to be able to create something of beauty for myself and others to enjoy is the essence of my being".
