Desert Pea Media is a non-profit organisation based in Bathurst NSW. Our mission is to bring media skills and new literacies to young people in isolated areas and marginalised Australian communities.

We offer a variety of integrated arts workshop programs which work with a variety of personal and community development techniques, also performance, circus, theatre, dance, song & voice, percussion, hip-hop, fire skills, acrobatics, stage combat, multimedia, video production and lots, lots more.

Our aim is to offer young people the skills and resources that can allow them to identify community issues, realise new ways of communicating with the world through visual languages and sound and develop a voice within their community.

More importantly, we believe in the necessity of long-term programs tailored to provide ongoing regional resources for youth programs. These feature a continual flow of support, skills, and inspiration into our 'Outreach programs' from various multiskilled Desert Pea volunteer teams.
