Splatter is a quarterly short story literary magazine due to be released in early 2004. Splatter provides a voice to writers regardless of whether they are established or being published for the first time, and aims to produce the highest quality literary magazine in the country.

Originating from the northern beaches in Sydney and publishing works by authors from all around Australia including special contributions by reknown writers, Splatter is set to be a first in the Australian literary publishing industry. They welcome contributions and invite writers to submit their short stories, poety and prose for consideration. There is no limit to genre, no deadline, and prefer pieces between 2000 - 3000 words.

Splatter Magazine will be available in a selection of newsagencies and book stores at $7.99 per issue. People are also invited to subscribe to the magazine via their website.

Splatter's website also features a 'Web Fiction' section where you can read original short stories and poetry.
