Wahba Nahal
Painter (Melbourne VIC)
Wahba Nahal arrived in Australia from Egypt in 1972 and has taught at secondary schools for 33 years. Many of his students are practising artists, painters, printers, photographers and teachers. Wahba Nahal believes Art equals Life. He has used many different styles and experimentations. This collection shows the variation and application. Some of the later images are related to issues such as addiction, social and health related problems.
Wahba is also a portrait artist and can be commissioned to paint from life models or photographs.
Wahba Nahal has a BSc in Art Education From Cairo and a BA of Fine Arts from RMIT Melbourne.
